All of our Cat Sitters go through a very thorough screening, vetting, and questionnaire process before they are considered to be part of our team. We look for stellar references, a clean background check, a personal love for cats, cat care experience, reliability and a great character and moral compass. Our sitters also complete a shadowing orientation on client directives before they receive their first solo assignment. We can never be too thorough and YOU and your pets can never be too happy!

I am a native North Carolinian and I have lived in Wake County since graduating from NC State over 40 years ago. I now live in Cary with my husband Ben and our two cats, Max and Sadie. They rule our home! I have had cats nearly all of my life and simply cannot imagine a life without them. We also care for four backyard box turtles and several honey bee hives. I love all animals and wildlife, and I enjoy growing plants and flowers to attract songbirds, hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators to our yard.
I enjoy the beach, especially shelling and searching for sharks’ teeth, but our kitties don’t travel so I know how hard it is to leave furry babies behind. It is so important to feel confident that your pets will be cared for when you are away! I will make every effort to learn what your kitty likes, and I will take great care of them and give them all the love, play, and attention they will allow.

My name is Nicole Collette and I am originally from Illinois, but moved to the Triangle area a year ago because I love the area. I grew up with dogs and cats, and before joining Lucky Dogs & Cool Cats I have done pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I currently have two cats of my own – Oliver and Bianca. I work full time as a Financial Analyst and am doing pet sitting because I’m an animal lover and can’t think of a better way to spend my free time. I look forward to getting to know and spending time with your fur babies!
