Cat Care Specialist

Bertie Beeker

I am a native North Carolinian and I have lived in Wake County since graduating from NC State over 40 years ago. I now live in Cary with my husband Ben and our two cats, Max and Sadie. They rule our home! I have had cats nearly all of my life and simply cannot imagine a life without them. We also care for four backyard box turtles and several honey bee hives. I love all animals and wildlife, and I enjoy growing plants and flowers to attract songbirds, hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators to our yard.

I enjoy the beach, especially shelling and searching for sharks’ teeth, but our kitties don’t travel so I know how hard it is to leave furry babies behind. It is so important to feel confident that your pets will be cared for when you are away!  I will make every effort to learn what your kitty likes, and I will take great care of them and give them all the love, play, and attention they will allow.

Dana Anderson

Hi, my name is Dana Anderson. I have been living in the Cary area since 1998 and have been working as a pre-school teacher most of that time. I was raised around many different animals while growing up. But my favorite were always dogs and cats and my household has always had at least one or the other or both.  I believe that they are very therapeutic and love to spend time with them. I live with my daughter, Brandi, cat, Dax, and a dog named Holly. In my spare time, besides spending time with my children and furry family, I love the beach, the mountains and enjoy getting lost in a really good book surrounded by my furry family! I cannot wait to meet you and your furry family members and provide you with the peace of mind you deserve!

Marie Kelly

Hello, I am Marie. I am originally from Northwest Pennsylvania and grew up in Rochester, NY. Through high school and college, I owned a cat. I also volunteered at a no-kill cat shelter while living in Rochester. I came down to NC for college in 2007 and I’ve been living in North Carolina ever since! I graduated from Guilford College in 2011.

I’ve enjoyed taken care of dogs and cats throughout the years and I enjoy learning about animals, especially cats. In 2017, I completed training for my Montessori infant/toddler credential. Currently, I am a Montessori toddler teacher in Durham. For several years, I taught swim lessons to people of all ages and skill levels as well as art classes for kindergarteners and high school psychology. My hobbies are painting with acrylics, Rummikub, and swimming whether it’s in a pool or the ocean, Zumba, yoga and outdoor walks. I love spending time with my parents and siblings who have also moved to the Raleigh area. I am looking forward to spending time with your extended fur family in the near future!

Pet Care Specialist

Karen Hoover

Hello! My name is Karen Hoover and I have lived in Cary for 25 years with my husband, Dave. Originally from Rochester, NY, I moved to Chicago after graduating from college. After spending a few brutal winters there (even compared to Rochester!) we set our sights on our ideal place to live and fell in love with the Triangle area and everything North Carolina has to offer. We have 2 grown children and a sweet old dog, Mario. We also have a grand fur baby, a sweet and sassy cat named Nova! I’ve also had 2 other cats and 1 dog in my lifetime, and they have all been such an important part of our family through the years. It’s hard to imagine life without a furry friend!

We love to travel and when we do, we are so thankful to have reliable care for our pets. It brings us peace of mind and so I know how important that is. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets, and bringing that peace of mind to you!

Pet Care Specialist

Linda Annab

Hi everyone, my name is Linda and I’ve lived in the triangle area for over 47 years with most of that time in the Cary/Apex area.  I have a husband, three daughters, three granddaughters and two cats (Charlie and Louie).  I was raised in a household with dogs and birds but have had many cats since I was married over 40 years ago.  I worked as a Financial Analyst as a career but now that I have retired, I wanted to work with animals as they bring me so much joy and I know how important it is to find good and loving care.

My hobbies are gardening, reading, playing games and especially traveling to places near and far.  I know how important it is to have good care for my fur babies when I am away from home and I want to provide others the same peace of mind that their fur babies are in trusted and loving hands.

Lynne Coppola

Hi, I’m Lynne. I’m a native New Yorker living in west Cary, NC since 2020. I am a life-long cat lover. I’ve had cats since I was a teenager and have always been smitten by their playful and curious nature and stunning looks. I am especially fond of the Persian breed, but I love all cats.

I have four rescue cats at home that I completely love and adore as they are my babies!

I am extremely reliable, responsible, and trustworthy. I understand the unique personalities of cats, and I will go out of my way to make your cat very happy when I am caring for them. I am also skilled at taking care of special needs cats and administering needles.

I am a HR Administrator by profession, but, in my free time, I’m actively involved with several animal organizations such as ASPCA and Best Friends, volunteering at adoption events and participating in the annual Mutt Strutt.

I look forward to meeting you and your cat companion(s)!

Cat Care Specialist

Rita Dimoulas

Hi there! My name is Rita. I am originally from Buffalo, NY, but moved to North Carolina in 1994 to get away from that cold, Western New York weather. Buffalo weather is what everyone says it is. Cold and snowy, but they have delicious food! I came to NC after graduating from Buffalo State College with a degree in Criminal Justice. I am a State of NC Government retiree where I worked as a Policy Writer and an Accreditation Manager. I am a fur mama to two kitty cats at home who are my world. They rule my household and allow me to live at home with them! I am a caretaker to several community cat colonies where I provide food, shelter, water, and socialization daily. I have cared for cats all my life and I am passionate about them. I love all cats of all breeds but have a special place in my heart for black cats.

While you are away, I will go above and beyond to ensure your fur babies are well taken care of and happy. I understand how important it is for you to have that peace of mind. In your absence, I will treat your fur babies like my own and provide them with the absolute best care and love. For fur babies that have special needs, I have experience in administering medication and giving subcutaneous fluids to cats.

In my free time, my hobbies include pickleball, yoga, walking, reading, painting, traveling, and scrapbooking. I also enjoy volunteering for special events at Safe Haven for Cats and I am an avid supporter of the work that Tiny Kittens Society does for the feral cat community.

I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies and providing them with the best care while you are away!
